I can’t say it enough WELL DONE!!! And THANKS!! The students are over the moon about geophysics now, the Kader Chouch seismic course went great (actually making them do something for ½ the day gave them tremendous focus), they really appreciated the opportunity to present and are over the moon with the award.

I wish I could remember who said it, but while standing in a group of exhibitors on the last evening (before the party) two of them said it was the best minerals geophysics conference they had been to – good size, good venue, excellent papers with an interesting mix. I couldn’t agree more.

Atlantic Philanthropies Trip September 2005

Dear Sir/Madam

I am the director of the South African office of The Atlantic Philanthropies – an international charitable foundation working in eight countries around the world and one of the largest in South Africa. In September last year the Board of Directors and Senior Management of Atlantic visited South Africa for the first time, a party of 28 people.

Board members arrived at different times from different parts of the world and travelled from Johannesburg to Cape Town while in the country, making numerous site visits, over a period of ten days.

We contracted RCA to organise the logistical aspects of the visit on the recommendation of the administration of the University of the Witwatersrand, which Atlantic funds and where RCA has organised numerous academic conferences and events. RCA’s role included reservations for travel and accommodation, provision of transport, organisation of two gala dinners, one with more than 80 guests, organisation of conference venues, tourist outings, identification of restaurants and much more.

It was an absolute pleasure working with RCA – their planning and attention to detail was meticulous and literally not a single thing went wrong. Our guests, many of whom travel a great deal in all parts of the world were deeply impressed by their visit to South Africa and many said that they had never previously been on such a well organised visit.

RCA bring professionalism and flair to their work. They are a superlative team of people.

Robbie Cameron and Associates have, over the past five years, been responsible for the staging and administration of most of the courses, workshops, symposia and congresses run by the Directorate of Professional Programmes (DPP) of the Geological Society of South Africa.
